Workshop Description

This morning networking session in Edinburgh is an opportunity to connect with others who are facing (or have overcome) similar evaluation challenges!  The focus of the event is to share and learn from others so you go away with new ideas and inspiration.

The event will include:

  • Solutions sounding board: we'll work through some of our real-life evaluation challenges together so you can get new perspectives and insights from your peers
  • Input from ESS about using creative evaluation methods and showing how they could work for you
  • Evaluation tools swap - bring a tool and take tools away with you!

What to bring: willingness to talk about your evaluation challenges (and successes!) with others, an example of an evaluation method/tool that you like or have used to contribute to the tool swap.

If you have a particular evaluation challenge that you'd like to get feedback on from other participants (in the solutions sounding board activity) you can email this to us in advance of the session. We'll send out more information about this a few weeks before the event.

There will be refreshments on arrival and at break time.

Please note:  We're running this event again due to the high demand for the tools swap event we held in Glasgow back in March 2018. If you participated in the Glasgow event then please be aware you'll recognise some of the content, although we will be mixing up the format and activities!
