Evaluation Support Scotland (ESS) was established in May 2005 and launched formally in January 2006. We are a registered Scottish Charity and a Limited Company. ESS is Scotland’s only charity dedicated to supporting organisations with their evaluation and learning.
We are partially funded by the Scottish Government and generate our own income from our workshop and support programmes.

ESS Constitution
Set up in 2005, this Constitution describes how we run the organisation.
The purpose of our privacy policy is to ensure that:
- Evaluation Support Scotland (ESS) complies with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
- We uphold the rights of our clients, stakeholders and staff
- Our clients, stakeholders and staff know how and why we process their personal data.
