8 & 9 February 10.00 – 12.30pm (via Zoom videoconferencing)

This training is for any third sector organisation interested in understanding how to demonstrate their impact on tackling health inequalities. Our previous work in this area tells us that third sector organisations face several challenges in showing how their work contributes to addressing health inequalities, particularly if it’s not a “health” intervention.

Evaluation Support Scotland (ESS), with funding from Public Health Scotland, is holding free training for any third sector organisation interested in how to explain and measure their work by drawing on the ESS resource Recognising our rich tapestry: measuring the contribution of third sector organisations to tackling health inequalities

This training may appeal to you are wondering:

“How can I help others better understand what difference we make to health inequalities?”

“We don’t set out to address health issues, but we think we must be helping to tackle health inequalities”

“I’m not clear on what we should measure to show our contribution to addressing health inequalities”

“What kind of evidence should I collect to show our contribution to health inequalities?”

On this course we will:

At the end of the two-day training course, you will be:

  1. More confident to evidence your contribution to tackling health inequalities
  2. Better able to explain how your work contributes to tackling inequalities
  3. Better understand how to measure how your work contributes to tackling inequalities

Please note:

This training runs over two consecutive half days and you must be available to attend both half days

We can only accommodate one person per organisation at this time

For generic evaluation training please check out our Let’s Evaluate series of workshops
