Tuesday 5th October 2021, 10.00 am – 12.00 pm
This event is for:
This is a peer learning event for people in Scotland’s third sector with a role to lead evaluation in their organisation. There will be opportunities for you to share experiences and trouble shoot challenges with your peers.
About this event:
This event is about “getting others on board”. Leading evaluation doesn’t mean doing all the evaluation yourself! You might need frontline workers to collect data or share insights. You might need senior staff or your board to take evaluation seriously and use the findings. You might want to empower service users to take a lead in evaluation and make sure their voice is heard. All of that needs persuasion, patience and positivity! This event will look at techniques to get others on board and allow you to share experiences and solve challenges.
By the end of the morning we hope you will:
- Know more about common challenges about getting others on board and how to overcome them
- Have concrete ideas about how to address your own leadership challenge
- Know more about where to find more support and information on evaluation
At this event:
There will be a mixture of short input from ESS and discussions where you can share experiences and trouble shoot challenges with your peers.
Please note this event is NOT training and we won’t teach you how to write outcomes or design methods.
We will be running this event via Zoom video conferencing. You will need a stable internet connection, webcam and microphone.
