Do you need to show the difference you make and don’t know where to start? Do you want to learn how to write clear outcomes, and how to set indicators to measure your outcomes? This workshop is designed to help you do just that!

This stimulating workshop gets you started by explaining what outcomes and indicators are and how they can help you to explain the difference your work makes. It will give you clarity on the building blocks of evaluation and includes lots of time for working on your own projects.

At this workshop you will learn to:

  • Understand the importance of outcomes and indicators
  • Write clear outcomes for your project / organisation
  • Set indicators to help measure whether you are achieving your outcomes

Staff or volunteers from third sector organisations.

Some funders will pay for evaluation support so third sector organisations should always ask their funder if that’s an option.  Click here for more information.

There will be a mixture of PowerPoint presentation and trainer guided exercises. We’ll help you learn from other participants and apply the learning to your work. There will be an icebreaker exercise at the start of the day to get to know each other. Participants will be placed in small groups to complete group activities.

For an engaging learning environment, we expect all attendees to actively participate in our workshops and to commit their full attention to the whole session. Please read our digital etiquette and best practice for online events.

We are running this workshop using Zoom. We’ll email in advance with a link, password and all the materials you will need for the workshop. For more information, please read our Participant guide for using Zoom.

This is one workshop that will be delivered over 2 days. For full learning you should attend both parts of the workshop on both dates.
