Let’s Evaluate! is a series of 3 workshops delivered regularly throughout the year. We recommend that people take them in this order: Getting Started, Make to Measure, Telling my Story.

Virtual workshop 

Make to Measure: Evaluation Methods and Plans

This is one workshop that has been split into two parts and will be delivered over 2 days:

Part 1: 9.30am to 12.15pm on Thursday 11th February 2021
Part 2: 9.30am to 12.15pm on Thursday 18th February 2021

You must attend both parts on both dates.

Venue Information

We are running this workshop using Zoom video conferencing.  All you’ll need is a stable internet connection (and preferably a webcam and microphone).  We’ll email in advance with a link, password and all the materials you will need for the workshop.

Workshop Description

This creative workshop which follows on from ‘Getting started: Outcomes and indicators’ shows you what evaluation methods to use and how to make a monitoring and evaluation plan.

Explore the questions and processes involved in choosing the best methods for your project including looking at sources of evidence, the level of user involvement the tool can provide, and keeping evaluation proportionate to your resources.

 At this workshop you will:

  • Understand the steps and principles to follow when choosing or developing evaluation methods
  • Use different methods and tools to collect information about your outcomes
  • Put in place a monitoring and evaluation plan for your project /organisation

There will be a mixture of presentation and trainer guided exercises.  We’ll help you learn from other participants and apply the learning to your work.
