In these short free lunchtime sessions we will introduce one of our resources and share tips to help you get the most out of it, you’ll also have the chance to ask any questions. We have lots of great resources and practical tools freely available on our website – please let us know if there is a particular resource you’d like to see featured in a future session!
These sessions are designed for those with an existing knowledge of evaluation working in the third sector; those working in the public sector may also find them useful and are welcome to attend. As a charity, our priority is to support volunteers and those employed in the voluntary and public sectors; therefore, our free resource sessions are not available to private consultants.
Come join us as we introduce the following resource:

| Making sense: analysing quantitative information | Martha Lester-Cribb | Thursday 19th March 2026 1.20pm – 2.00pm |
About the resource:
This resource is about analysing quantitative information. Quantitative information tells us about numbers. For example, the information could be about the numbers of people supported, or demographic information: who those people are (age/role/location etc), or activities: how many times you have helped or supported others in different ways.
This guide can be used to help you make sense of quantitative information.
You can find out about other resource sessions we’re hosting here. If you want to suggest a resource for a future session, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. To hear about new session dates, sign up to our newsletter or follow us on social media.
If you are you looking for training on evaluation, we would recommend our workshop Let’s Evaluate! Lite or the full Let’s Evaluate! programme. If you would like a support session, please see tailored support for more information on how we can support you with specific evaluation needs.
