This case study focuses on one community based organisation that provides a range of services to older and other vulnerable people. Pilton Equalities Project (PEP) provide day activities, befriending and home visiting services and practical help with household tasks, shopping and gardening. They provide transport so that people can get to the services and opportunities they want. They also offer informal advice, support and signposting as needs arise. These services have been developed to meet the needs of local people.
In this case study we provide a model to explain the activities and outcomes for Pilton Equalities Project. This includes a situation tree that describes the need they are meeting and a diagram of their activities and outcomes.
We also include a paper on ‘Evaluation in a community based organisation Pilton Equalities Project’ in which we discuss the approach they take to evaluation.
