Managing Outcomes – A Guide for Homelessness Organisations (2003)

This Charities Evaluation Services guide has been written for people working in the homelessness field. It provides definitions and examples of identifying outcomes, explores the different perspectives of stakeholder groups and the links between aims and outcomes. Outcome indicators, monitoring systems, assessment tools and practical issues relating to client participation are covered in the second chapter.

The guide goes on to describe ways to analyse and present results, as well as linking those results into your planning and communication processes.

The final chapter highlights some of the lessons learned by organisations in the homelessness sector such as gaining commitment to outcome management; overcoming reluctance, setting timetables and using consultants.
