Upshot is a paid for performance management system, designed to help organisations delivering and funding community based projects, manage, monitor and evidence their work, and prove their impact.
The tool was launched in 2012 by the Football Foundation, the UK’s largest sports charity, which is funded by the Football Association, the Premier League and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport.
Upshot provides a user-friendly interface to collect and track participant and attendance data. Receive live oversight of how a programme is going and combine a variety of evidence such as questionnaires, case notes and media files across projects to tell the full story. Powerful reporting tools allow everyone involved to analyse the bigger picture.
There are now more than 850 organisations across the non-profit sector, from youth organisations and YMCAs to housing associations, NGB’s, sport organisations and local authorities, which use the software for quantitative and qualitative data collection.
In Scotland, these include Netball Scotland, Glasgow Life and community organisations like 3D Drumchapel and Connect Communities Trust.
