About our training workshops

Throughout the year we offer a host of different training workshops for organisations and practitioners – we call these open workshops. Learn the building blocks of evaluation with our ‘Let’s Evaluate!’ programme or delve deeper with our topic specific workshops such as Evaluating Prevention and Evaluating Policy Influence.

All training is held online and follows an interactive format, incorporating Miro boards and breakout rooms. To ensure everyone can participate fully, each attendee should join the session from their own computer or laptop.

Our training workshops are also available for commission – for both in-person and online delivery. Browse all training to see a full list of all the workshops we offer.

  • Small groups/pair work to apply what you are learning to a question or problem
  • Time to apply learning points to your own work and write notes on templates provided
  • You will be asked on the workshop booking form if you have any access or other support requirements, or dietary requirements for in-person events where lunch may be included – please let us know how we can help!
  • If you need extra time or materials in a different format, please contact us in advance.

Any transferred booking or event credit must be redeemed and an alternative event attended within 12 months of the original event date. No refund or further transfer will be available for any unused credit after this period.
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted by email to info@evaluationsupportscotland.org.uk

  • Evaluation Support Scotland may deliver events online, in person or both. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the delivery format where necessary and will provide participants with as much notice as possible.
  • Participants are sent joining instructions approximately 7 days before the event date. This includes how to access the event, a link to the event and access to course documentation.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have received all joining instructions. If you have not received instructions at least two working days before the event, please contact us at info@evaluationsupportscotland.org.uk
