Evaluation Leaders Network

The Evaluation Leaders’ Network is for people in the third sector who have responsibility for making evaluation happen in their organisation  Evaluation Leaders typically do some or all of the following:

  • Enthuse and support colleagues to undertake evaluation
  • Manage evaluation systems (data collection or storage)
  • Help to ensure evaluation findings are used internally
  • Write evaluation reports for funders or others

The network started in October 2023 and will meet roughly quarterly – mostly online but with one meeting a year in person.  There is no cost to participate.

Sessions involve discussing and sharing with each other in an action learning approach

  • Challenges and opportunities around embedding evaluation internally
  • Methodological issues around doing and using evaluation meaningfully
  • Influencing the external evaluation environment
  • Write evaluation reports for funders or others

Please note this is not evaluation training and you need to have a good basic knowledge of evaluation to take part meaningfully.

  • Evaluation Leaders Network kick-off event report

The Evaluation Leaders’ Network kick-off event took place on 3 October 2023. The report summarises the event and decisions about the network and also includes slides and links to resources and the jamboards.
