Date/Time:
Monday 20th February 2023, 10 am – 12 pm
This event is for:
Staff and volunteers in third sector organisations based in Scotland AND Funders of Scotland’s third sector.
About this event:
Evaluation is done by clever people with clipboards. Proper evidence is robust and expertly collected data. Well maybe … But ESS believes that the people the third sector works with (our beneficiaries, service users) should have a say in evaluation and that lived experience evidence is crucial to understanding impact.
This free peer learning event is for you if you agree – or even if you don’t! It’s for people in the third sector with good understanding of evaluation to share experiences and practical ideas.
By the end of the morning you should:
- Know more about the benefits of involving the people you work with in evaluation and evidence
- Know more about how to involve the people you work with in evaluation
- Have concrete ideas about how to address your own evaluation challenge
At this event:
There will be a mixture of short input from ESS and discussions where you can share experiences and trouble shoot challenges with your peers.
Please note this event is NOT training and we won’t teach you how to evaluate. If you need that please check out Let’s Evaluate!
